GENERAL INFORMATION
The KIT allows both the Direct Extrusion “Forward Extrusion” and the Reverse Extrusion “Back Extrusion” tests to be carried out by simply changing the disc located at the base of the sample-holder container for the disc without perforation, since the rest of the elements of the Assay KIT is common to both methods.
It consists of a base device with 1 sample-holder device, an upper probe for compression through a disk-shaped head with a diameter of 49.5 mm. The upper probe compresses the test liquid by passing it through a hole in the base of the sample holder. The kit is delivered with 1 set of 6 discs with a perforated base of 2, 4, 6, 8 and 10 mm in diameter respectively, plus a disc without perforation.
OPTIONAL: If required, the KIT can be supplied with 3 Sets of Specimen Holder Devices with a set of 6 Discs each and thus three test specimens can be prepared to carry out the test at one time and reduce the time test execution.
APPLICATIONS
This DUAL Extrusion test KIT is mainly used for the analysis of food products in liquid or near liquid state such as gelatins, sauces, butters, pastes or other viscous liquids.
